Valentine’s Day Date Night
Valentine’s Day Outfit #2
Valentine’s day is a week from today?! I still have no idea what to get Preston….does anyone else think that boys are so hard to shop for? This post is centered around Valentine’s day! Preston and I honestly spend majority of our time together, we totally lucked out with our schedules always working with one another’s. I do have to say, I am so excited to set aside a whole day to just focus on us without any distractions.
It is always fun to get dressed up, even if you are having a romantic night at home. I will come up with any excuse to find a new pair of cute heels to wear! I was shocked when I found these mauve pumps at TARGET, yes I said TARGET. I was doing some grocery shopping, and just happened to walk through the shoe aisle and found these beauties, for $3o! Who doesn’t love a great deal?!
Some of our favorite date nights are picking a new restaurant that we have never tried before. I am totally the type of person that finds a place that I love and then just keeps going back because its safe and I know I already love it. Preston loves to switch it up and make us try new things (I keep telling myself that its good for me!) but sure enough I find new places that I love just as much or even more! I would definitely book now to make sure you have table for the holiday.
I love skirts that pop and make a statement. It can easily take a simple outfit to the next level! Midi length skirts are perfect for making you look longer, especially when adding a pair of heels. Treat yourself to a new outfit for your special date, and hey even if you’re doing a cozy night for one! You deserve it.
A little Valentine’s day tip from Preston – call ahead to the flower shop to order your flowers, if you wait till the last day they usually only have slim pickings left. Last year when he went the day of, they only had one tiny dying Peony left. ha! Lesson learned.
