Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

It isn’t Fall without some delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookies! I honestly probably make these once a week during the pumpkin season… I crave them! I especially love this recipe because it calls for semisweet chocolate chips, which give the cookies an extra kick! Im not sure where I got this specific recipe from, I’ve been using it for a couple of years now and I just always had it written down on a recipe card. Its simple, easy, and quick! Your mouth will be watering in no time 😉


*1 cup 100% pure pumpkin

*1 cup sugar

*1/2 cup canola oil

*1 egg

*1 tsp vanilla

*1 tsp milk

*1 tsp baking soda

*2 tsp baking powder

*2 tsp cinnamon

*1/2 tsp salt

*2 cups flour

*2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips


  1.  Combine pumpkin, sugar, canola oil, egg, and vanilla in a stand up mixer or with a hand mixer.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine milk and baking soda. Yes it really just is 1 teaspoon of each. Then add to the pumpkin mixture while mixer is still on.
  3. Use the same bowl you used for the milk mixture (no need to dirty more dishes) and combine baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and flour. Then add to the pumpkin mixture.
  4. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
  6. Let the batter sit for 15 minutes to set.
  7. Use a cookie scoop and place batter on baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12min, I would recommend going the full 12min.
  9. Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes to cool before moving to a cooling rack.
  10. ENJOY!! 


Best thing I ever did was buy a cookie scoop! Perfect sized cookies every time!
