YUMMY Hemp Bars
Being cooped up has definitely made us try new things and be more creative in the kitchen!
Here’s our newest recipe!! Don’t feel bad if these are gone in 10min… they sure don’t last a full day in our home! They are basically healthy scotcheroos!
Hemp Seed is the Key ingredient in these! They are pure magic for your body! Hemp seeds have so many great benefits for you! They are great in protein, high in omega 3 and 6, awesome for anti-aging, help reduces muscle cramping, reduces PMS and menopause symptoms… the list goes on! I challenge you to try adding it more into your diet! Start with these yummy snacks!
1 1/2 cups creamy natural peanut butter
1/3 cup melted honey
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups rice krispy cereal
1/3 cup shredded coconut
1/3 hemp seed *mix peanut butter, vanilla & honey until smooth. Add in Rice Krispies, coconut & hemp seed. Mix well until combined. Pat into a lined or greased pan.
*1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (I used semi sweet, but for vegans use vegan chocolate)
1 big tablespoon peanut butter
1/4 cup shredded coconut *melt chocolate & peanut butter together. Pour on top & spread evenly. Sprinkle coconut across and mix into chocolate.
